Sunan an-Nasa'i 844
It was narrated from 'Itban bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that he said :" O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) the floods keep me from coming to the Masjid of my people. I would like you to come and pray in a place in my house so that I can take it as a Masjid." The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said : "We shall do that." "When the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) entered he said : 'Where do you want (me to pray).' I showed him a comer of the house, and the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stood there, and we formed rows behind him, and he led us in praying two Rak'a."

عتبان بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میرے اور میرے قبیلہ کی مسجد کے درمیان ( برسات میں ) سیلاب حائل ہو جاتا ہے، میں چاہتا ہوں کہ آپ میرے گھر تشریف لاتے، اور میرے گھر میں ایک جگہ نماز پڑھ دیتے جسے میں مصلیٰ بنا لیتا، تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اچھا ہم آئیں گے ، جب رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لائے تو آپ نے پوچھا: تم کہاں چاہتے ہو؟ تو میں نے گھر کے ایک گوشہ کی جانب اشارہ کیا، تو رسول اللہ ﷺ کھڑے ہوئے، اور ہم نے آپ کے پیچھے صف بندی کی، پھر آپ نے ہمیں دو رکعت نماز پڑھائی ۔
Atabaan bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke unhon ne arz kiya: Allah ke rasool! Mere aur mere qabila ki masjid ke darmiyan ( barsaat mein ) silab haail ho jata hai, main chahta hoon ke aap mere ghar tashreef late, aur mere ghar mein ek jagah namaz padh dete jise mein musalla bana leta, to rasoolullah sallaAllahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Acha hum aayenge, jab rasoolullah sallaAllahu alaihi wasallam tashreef laye to aap ne poocha: Tum kahan chahte ho? To main ne ghar ke ek goshe ki janib ishara kiya, to rasoolullah sallaAllahu alaihi wasallam kharae hue, aur hum ne aap ke pichhe saf bandi ki, phir aap ne hamen do rakat namaz padhai
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَحْمُودٍ، عَنْ عِتْبَانَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ السُّيُولَ لَتَحُولُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ مَسْجِدِ قَوْمِي فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ تَأْتِيَنِي فَتُصَلِّيَ فِي مَكَانٍ مِنْ بَيْتِي أَتَّخِذُهُ مَسْجِدًا . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " سَنَفْعَلُ " . فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ " . فَأَشَرْتُ إِلَى نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
