Sunan an-Nasa'i 85
It was narrated from Humran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that he saw 'Uthman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) call for (water for) Wudu', then he poured water on his hands from the vessel and washed them three times. Then he put his right hand in the water and rinsed his mouth and his nose. Then he washed his face three times, and his arms up to the elbow three times. Then he wiped his head, and washed each of his feet three times. Then he said : "I saw the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) performing Wudu' like I have just done." Then he said: "Whoever performs Wudu' as I have done, then stands and prays two Rak'a without letting his thoughts wander, his previous sins will be forgiven.'"

حمران سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا کہ انہوں نے وضو کا پانی منگوایا، اور اسے برتن سے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ پر انڈیلا، پھر انہیں تین بار دھویا، پھر اپنا داہنا ہاتھ پانی میں ڈالا ۱؎ اور کلی کی، اور ناک صاف کی، پھر تین بار اپنا چہرہ دھویا اور کہنیوں تک تین بار ہاتھ دھوئے، پھر اپنے سر کا مسح کیا، پھر اپنے دونوں پیروں میں سے ہر پیر کو تین تین بار دھویا، پھر کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیکھا آپ نے میرے اس وضو کی طرح وضو کیا، اور فرمایا: جو میرے اس وضو کی طرح وضو کرے، پھر کھڑے ہو کر دو رکعت نماز پڑھے، دل میں کوئی اور خیال نہ لائے تو اس کے گزشتہ گناہ بخش دئیے جائیں گے ۔
Hamran se riwayat hai ke unhon ne Usman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko dekha ke unhon ne wazu ka pani mangwaya, aur usse bartan se apne donon hathon par indilla, phir unhen teen bar dhoya, phir apna dahna hath pani mein dala 1 o aur kli ki, aur nak saf ki, phir teen bar apna chehra dhoya aur kahniyon tak teen bar hath dhoye, phir apne sar ka masah kiya, phir apne donon payron mein se har pair ko teen teen bar dhoya, phir kaha: main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekha aap ne mere is wazu ki tarah wazu kiya, aur farmaya: jo mere is wazu ki tarah wazu kare, phir khare ho kar do rakat namaz padhe, dil mein koi aur khayal na laye to uske guzishta gunaah bakhsh diye jayenge.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ، - هُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ عَنْ - شُعَيْبٍ، - هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ - عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى عُثَّمَانَ دَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ مِنْ إِنَائِهِ فَغَسَلَهَا ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَمِينَهُ فِي الْوَضُوءِ فَتَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ كُلَّ رِجْلٍ مِنْ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ثُمَّ قَالَ " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ مِثْلَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لاَ يُحَدِّثُ فِيهِمَا نَفْسَهُ بِشَىْءٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
