Sunan an-Nasa'i 953
Uqbah bin Amr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he followed the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) when he was riding. He placed his hand on his foot and said, ‘O Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), teach me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf. He said, 'you will never recite anything greater before Allah than َِب ِ الْفَلَققُلْ أَعُوذُ بِر [Say : 'I seek refuge with the lord of the Daybreak'], (Al-Falaq) And َِب ِ النَّاسقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِر [Say, 'I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind'] (An-Nas).

عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پیچھے چلا، اور آپ سوار تھے تو میں نے آپ کے پاؤں پہ اپنا ہاتھ رکھا، اور آپ سے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ مجھے سورۃ هود اور سورۃ یوسف پڑھا دیجئیے، تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اللہ کے نزدیک «قل أعوذ برب الفلق» اور «قل أعوذ برب الناس» سے زیادہ بلیغ سورت تم کوئی اور نہیں پڑھو گے ۔
Aqbah bin Aamir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pichhe chala, aur aap sawar the to maine aap ke paon pe apna hath rakha, aur aap se arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! Aap mujhe Surah Hud aur Surah Yusuf padha dijiye, to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Allah ke nazdeek «Qul A'udhu bi Rabbi-l-Falaq» aur «Qul A'udhu bi Rabbi-n-Naas» se zyada baleegh surat tum ko koi aur nahin padho ge.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ اتَّبَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ فَوَضَعْتُ يَدِي عَلَى قَدَمِهِ فَقُلْتُ أَقْرِئْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سُورَةَ هُودٍ وَسُورَةَ يُوسُفَ . فَقَالَ " لَنْ تَقْرَأَ شَيْئًا أَبْلَغَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ { قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ } وَ { قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ } " .
