Our master Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, narrated that a piece of gold came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and this was the first charity of metal that came to him, peace and blessings be upon him, so he, peace and blessings be upon him, asked, "What is this?" The people said, "This is charity from our metal." He, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Soon there will be metals, and there will be among the worst of the creation of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں: رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس ایک سونے کا ٹکڑا آیا اور یہ دھات کا پہلا صدقہ آپ ﷺ کے پاس آیا تھا، تو آپ ﷺ نے پوچھا: ”یہ کیا ہے؟“ لوگوں نے کہا: یہ ہمارے دھات سے صدقہ ہے۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”عنقریب دھاتیں ہوں گی اور وہاں اللہ عز و جل کی بدترین مخلوق کے لوگ ہوں گے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kahte hain: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass ek sone ka tukda aaya aur ye dhat ka pehla sadqa aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass aaya tha, to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne poocha: “Ye kya hai?” Logon ne kaha: Ye humare dhat se sadqa hai. Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Anqarib dhatein hongi aur wahan Allah Azzawajal ki badtareen makhlooq ke log honge.”
حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَبُو عَدِيٍّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْيَرْبُوعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُعَيْرُ بْنُ الْخِمْسِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقِطْعَةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ كَانَتْ أَوَّلَ صَدَقَةٍ جَاءَتْهُ مِنْ مَعْدَنٍ، فَقَالَ:"مَا هَذِهِ؟، قَالُوا: صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَعْدَنٍ لَنَا، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ مَعَادِنَ، وَسَيَكُونُ فِيهَا شَرُّ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ"، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، إِلا عَاصِمٌ
