Sayyiduna Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the (odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan, especially) on the twenty-seventh night.”

سیدنا جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”لیلۃ القدر کو 27 ویں کی رات میں تلاش کرو۔“
Sayyidna Jabir bin Samurah razi Allah anhu kahte hain: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Lailat-ul-Qadr ko 27veen ki raat mein talaash karo.”
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ"، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، إِلا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وِجَادَةً فِي كِتَابِهِ
