Al-Mu'jam al-Saghir 370
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) missed any optional act of worship specific to Ramadan, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would make it up in the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah.

سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: رسول اللہ ﷺ سے جب کوئی رمضان کا وظیفہ فوت ہو جاتا تو آپ ﷺ ذی الحجہ کے پہلے دس دنوں میں اس کی قضا کر دیتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ نَصْرٍ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ التِّرْمِذِيُّ الْفَقِيهُ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصِّينِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا فَاتَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ قَضَاهُ فِي عَشْرِ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ"، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، إِلا قَيْسٌ، وَلا يُرْوَى عَنْ عُمَرَ، إِلا بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ
