Hazrat Samurah narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "On the seventh day, an animal should be sacrificed on behalf of the child (Aqiqah). The child’s head should be shaved and the child should be named."
حضرت سمرہ ، جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” ساتویں روز بچہ کی طرف سے (عقیقہ) ذبح کیا جائے گا اور اس کا سر مونڈا جائے گا اور نام رکھا جائے گا۔ “
Hazrat Samra, Janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se riwayat karte hain ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: “Saatwein roz bachay ki taraf se (Aqeeqa) zibah kiya jayega aur uska sar munda jayega aur naam rakha jayega.”
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Amr bin Shuaib that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded to perform Aqiqah for the child on the seventh day, to shave his head and to name the child.
حضرت عمرو بن شعیب سے روایت ہے کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بچہ کے لیے ساتویں روز عقیقہ کرنے کا اور سر صاف کرنے کا اور بچہ کا نام رکھنے کا حکم دیا۔
Hazrat Amr bin Shoaib se riwayat hai keh Janab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne bache ke liye saatwein roz Aqeeqah karne ka aur sar saaf karne ka aur bache ka naam rakhne ka hukum diya.
Hazrat Mu'tamir bin Sulaiman narrated from his father, Hazrat Ibn Sirin, that he saw no harm in performing Aqeeqah before or after the seventh day. And he used to say, "Do with the meat of the Aqeeqah as you wish."
حضرت معتمر بن سلیمان، اپنے والد سے، حضرت ابن سیرین کے بارے میں روایت کرتے ہیں کہ وہ ساتویں روز سے قبل اور اس کے بعد عقیقہ کرنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں دیکھتے تھے۔ اور فرمایا کرتے تھے ۔ عقیقہ کے گوشت کو تم جس طرح چاہو ویسے ہی کرو۔
Hazrat Mutamaer bin Sulaiman apne walid se Hazrat Ibn e Sireen ke baare mein riwayat karte hain ki woh saatwein roz se pehle aur uske baad aqiqa karne mein koi harj nahi dekhte thay aur farmaya karte thay aqiqa ke gosht ko tum jis tarah chaho waise hi karo
It is narrated from Hazrat Hasan that he said that in Aqiqah there is one goat that is sacrificed on behalf of the child on the seventh day, and the child's head is shaved, and he is named.
حضرت حسن سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ عقیقہ میں ایک مُسِنّہ بکری ہوتی ہے جو ساتویں دن بچہ کی طرف سے ذبح کی جاتی ہے اور بچہ کا سر صاف کیا جاتا ہے اور نام رکھا جاتا ہے۔
Hazrat Hassan se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke aqiqah mein ek musinnah bakri hoti hai jo saatwein din bachcha ki taraf se zabah ki jati hai aur bachcha ka sar saaf kiya jata hai aur naam rakha jata hai.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ja'far that he said that Hazrat Fatima used to perform the Aqiqah of her children on the seventh day and used to name them and used to have them circumcised and used to shave their heads and used to give silver in charity equal to the weight of their (hair).
حضرت ابو جعفر سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت فاطمہ، اپنے بچوں کی طرف سے ساتویں دن عقیقہ کرتی تھیں اور اس کا نام رکھتی تھیں اور اس کے ختنے کرواتی تھیں اور اس کا سر صاف کرتی تھیں اس کے (بالوں کے) ہم وزن چاندی صدقہ کیا کرتی تھیں۔
Hazrat Abu Jaffar se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke Hazrat Fatima apne bachchon ki taraf se satwein din Aqiqah karti thin aur iska naam rakhti thin aur iske khatna karwati thin aur iska sar saaf karti thin. Iske (baalon ke) ham wazan chandi sadqa kiya karti thin.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that he said about the sacrifice of Aqiqah. It should be slaughtered on behalf of the child on the seventh day. The child's head should be shaved. And silver equal to the weight of his hair should be given in charity and his head should be stained with blood.
حضرت ابن عمر سے روایت ہے کہ وہ عقیقہ کے بارے میں فرماتے ہیں۔ بچہ کی طرف سے ساتویں روز ذبح کیا جائے گا۔ بچہ کا سر صاف کیا جائے گا۔ اور اس کے بالوں کے ہم وزن چاندی صدقہ کی جائے گی اور اس کے سر کو خون سے آلودہ کیا جائے گا۔
