It is narrated on the authority of Salat bin Abdullah bin Nawfal. He says: I saw Abdullah bin Abbas. His ring was in his right hand. And I think he also mentioned that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to wear it in the same way.
حضرت صلت بن عبداللہ بن نوفل سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس کو دیکھا۔ ان کی انگوٹھی ان کے دائیں ہاتھ میں تھی۔ اور میرا خیال ہے کہ انھوں نے یہ بات بھی ذکر کی تھی کہ جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بھی اسی طرح پہنا کرتے تھے۔

Hazrat Hammad bin Salamah narrates: He says that Hazrat Abu Rafi, the freed slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), told me that Hazrat Abdullah bin Ja'far used to wear a ring in his right hand. And he thought that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also used to wear a ring in his right hand.
حضرت حماد بن سلمہ بیان کرتے ہیں۔ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مولی حضرت ابو رافع نے بتایا کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن جعفر اپنے دائیں ہاتھ میں انگوٹھی پہنا کرتے تھے۔ اور ان کا گمان یہ تھا کہ جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بھی اپنے دائیں ہاتھ میں انگوٹھی پہنتے تھے۔
