What a man should supplicate when throwing the pebbles (at the Jamaraat).
مَا يَدْعُو بِهِ إِذَا رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ

Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman bin Yazid narrates that when I returned with Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood after the completion of Waquf e Arafah, you threw seven pebbles. You recited Takbeer with each pebble and then you descended in Waavi and prayed like this, "O Allah! Accept this Hajj and forgive the sins." Then you said: This is how I saw when Surah Baqarah was revealed to you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did like this.
حضرت محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن یزید فرماتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود کے ساتھ وقوف عرفہ کے اختتام پر منیٰ واپس لوٹا، تو آپ نے سات کنکریاں ماریں، آپ ہر کنکری کے ساتھ تکبیر پڑھتے تھے، اور پھر واوی میں اترے اور یوں دعا فرمائی، اے اللہ ! اس حج کو مقبول بنا دے اور گناہ کی بخشش فرما دے، پھر یوں ارشاد فرمایا : اس طرح میں نے دیکھا تھا جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر سورة بقرہ نازل ہوئی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایسا کیا۔
Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Yazid farmate hain keh main Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood ke saath wuqoof Arafah ke ikhtitam par Mina wapas louta, to aap ne saat kankriyan mari, aap har kankri ke saath takbeer parhte thay, aur phir wawai mein utre aur yun dua farmai, Aye Allah! Is Hajj ko maqbool bana de aur gunah ki bakhshish farma de, phir yun irshad farmaya: Is tarah maine dekha tha jab aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par Surah Baqarah nazil hui to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne aisa kya.
Hazrat Laith bin Hanash narrates that I heard Hazrat Ibn Umar supplicating during the stoning of the Jamarat, "O Allah! Accept this Hajj from us and forgive our sins."
حضرت الھیثم بن حنش فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رمی جمار کے وقت حضرت ابن عمر کو یوں دعا کرتے ہوئے سنا : اے اللہ ! اس حج کو مقبول بنا دے، اور گناہوں کی بخشش فرما دے۔
Hazrat Alisam bin Hanash farmate hain ke maine Rumi Jamar ke waqt Hazrat Ibne Umar ko yun dua karte hue suna: Aye Allah! Is Hajj ko maqbool bana de, aur gunahon ki بخشش farma de.
Hazrat Mughira narrates that I asked Hazrat Ibrahim: When I pelt the Satan with pebbles, what Dua should I recite? You instructed: Recite this Dua: 'O Allah! Accept this Hajj, and forgive the sins.' Mughira says: I asked: Should I recite these words with every pebble? So you instructed: Yes! If you wish.
حضرت مغیرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت ابراہیم سے پوچھا : جب میں شیطان کو کنکری ماروں تو کیا دعا پڑھوں ؟ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا : یہ دعا پڑھو : اے اللہ ! اس حج کو مقبول بنا دے، اور گناہوں کو بخش دے، مغیرہ کہتے ہیں : میں نے پوچھا : کیا یہ کلمات میں ہر کنکری کے ساتھ پڑھوں ؟ تو آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا ! جی ہاں ! اگر تم چاہو۔
Hazrat Mugheera farmate hain keh maine Hazrat Ibrahim se poocha: jab main shetan ko kankri marun to kya dua padhun? Aap ne irshad farmaya: yeh dua padho: Aye Allah! Is Hajj ko maqbool bana de, aur gunahon ko bakhsh de, Mugheera kehte hain: maine poocha: kya yeh kalimat main har kankri ke saath padhun? To aap ne irshad farmaya! Jee han! Agar tum chaho.
