Hazrat Ubaidah narrates that when the subject of taking a bath on Friday was mentioned in front of Hazrat Abu Wa'il, he said that it is not obligatory to take a bath on Friday. There are many old people who, if they take a bath in the extreme cold, will die.
حضرت عبیدہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابو وائل کے سامنے جمعہ کے دن کے غسل کا تذکرہ کیا گیا تو انھوں نے فرمایا کہ جمعہ کے دن غسل کرنا واجب نہیں ہے۔ بہت سے بوڑھے ایسے ہیں کہ اگر وہ سخت سردی میں غسل کریں گے تو فوت ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Obaida kehte hain ke Hazrat Abu Wail ke samne jumma ke din ke ghusl ka tazkara kiya gaya to unhon ne farmaya ke jumma ke din ghusl karna wajib nahin hai. Bahut se budhe aise hain ke agar wo sakht sardi mein ghusl karenge to fot ho jayenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Samurah that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution on Friday, it is fine, and if someone takes a bath, then it is more virtuous."
حضرت سمرہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جس شخص نے جمعہ کے دن وضو کیا تو ٹھیک ہے اور اگر کسی نے غسل کیا تو یہ افضل بات ہے۔
Hazrat Samra se riwayat hai keh Nabi Pak (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya keh jis shakhs ne jumma ke din wuzu kiya to theek hai aur agar kisi ne ghusl kiya to yeh afzal baat hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution well and then comes for Friday prayer, comes close to the Imam and remains silent, and listens attentively to the sermon, his sins between that Friday and the previous Friday, along with the sins of three extra days, are forgiven. Whoever touches pebbles during the sermon has engaged in vain talk."
حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جو شخص اچھی طرح وضو کرے، پھر جمعہ کے لیے آئے، امام کے قریب ہو کر خاموش رہے اور غور سے خطبہ سنے، اس کے اس جمعہ سے لے کر پچھلے جمعہ کے گناہ اور تین اضافی دنوں کے گناہ معاف ہوجاتے ہیں۔ جس شخص نے خطبہ کے دوران کنکریوں کو ہاتھ لگایا اس نے لغو کام کیا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya keh jo shakhs achhi tarah wuzu kare, phir jummah ke liye aaye, imam ke kareeb ho kar khamosh rahe aur gौर se khutbah sune, uske iss jummah se lekar pichhle jummah ke gunah aur teen izafi dinon ke gunah maaf hojate hain. Jis shakhs ne khutbah ke doran kankariyon ko hath lagaya usne laghu kaam kiya.
Hazrat Hajjaj says that I asked Hazrat Abu Ja'far about the bath on Friday, and he said that no bath is obligatory except for Janabat (major impurity).
حضرت حجاج کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت ابو جعفر سے جمعہ کے دن کے غسل کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو انھوں نے فرمایا کہ سوائے جنابت کے کوئی غسل واجب نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Hajjaj kehte hain keh maine Hazrat Abu Jaffar se Jumuah ke din ke ghusl ke baare mein sawal kiya to unhon ne farmaya keh siwae junubat ke koi ghusl wajib nahin hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Saeed that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever takes a good bath, then comes for Friday prayer and does not do any useless and ignorant work, then this Friday will be an atonement for all the sins from the previous Friday. Every prayer out of the five prayers is an atonement for the previous prayer. There is such an hour on Friday in which whatever a person asks from Allah Almighty, He is granted.
حضرت ابو سعید سے روایت ہے کہ نبی پاک (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جس شخص نے اچھی طرح غسل کیا، پھر جمعہ کی نماز کے لیے آیا اور کوئی فضول اور جہالت والا کام نہ کیا تو یہ جمعہ پچھلے جمعہ تک کے تمام گناہوں کا کفارہ بن جائے گا۔ پانچوں نمازوں میں سے ہر نماز اپنے سے پہلی نماز تک کے لیے کفارہ ہے۔ جمعہ میں ایک گھڑی ایسی ہوتی ہے جس میں بندہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے جو بھی مانگتا ہے اسے عطا کیا جاتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed se riwayat hai ke Nabi Pak (SAW) ne irshad farmaya ke jis shakhs ne achhi tarah ghusl kiya, phir juma ki namaz ke liye aaya aur koi fuzool aur jahalat wala kaam na kiya to yeh juma pichhle juma tak ke tamam gunahon ka kaffara ban jaye ga. Panchon namazon mein se har namaz apne se pehli namaz tak ke liye kaffara hai. Juma mein ek ghari aisi hoti hai jis mein banda Allah Ta'ala se jo bhi mangta hai usey ata kiya jata hai.
