كِتَابُ الطَّلَاقِ What did they say about the mother of the child if she is freed, how long is her waiting period?
مَا قَالُوا فِي أُمِّ الْوَلَدِ إِذَا أُعْتِقَتْ، كَمْ تَعْتَدُّ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 18764
Hazrat Abraham (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if a person frees his slave girl or she dies after he divorces her, then her waiting period is three menstrual cycles.
حضرت ابراہیم (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ام ولد کو آزاد کرے یا اسے چھوڑ کر مرجائے تو اس کی عدت تین حیض ہے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim (RA) farmate hain keh umme walad ko azad kare ya usay chhor kar mar jaye to us ki iddat teen haiz hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : نا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ : « إِذَا أَعْتَقَهَا أَوْ مَاتَ عَنْهَا فَعِدَّتُهَا ثَلَاثُ حِيَضٍ »
