كِتَابُ الْعَقِيقَةِ

Who said: If a sacrifice is offered on one's behalf, it suffices for the 'Aqiqah

‌مَنْ قَالَ: إِذَا ضُحِّيَ عَنْهُ أَجْزَأَتْهُ مِنَ الْعَقِيقَةِ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 24267

It is narrated from Hazrat Hasan. He said that when the family sacrifices an animal on behalf of the child, then it will be sufficient on behalf of the Aqiqah.

حضرت حسن سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب بچہ کی طرف سے گھر والے قربانی کردیں تو یہ عقیقہ کی طرف سے کافی ہوجائے گی۔

Hazrat Hassan se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke jab bache ki taraf se ghar wale qurbani kardein to ye aqiqah ki taraf se kaafi hojayegi.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَطَرٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : « إِذَا ضَحَّوْا عَنِ الْغُلَامِ ، فَقَدْ أَجْزَأَتْ عَنْهُ مِنَ الْعَقِيقَةِ »
