كِتَابُ اللِّبَاسِ وَالزِّينَةِ
Regarding wearing silk and the dislike of it
فِي لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ وَكَرَاهِيَةِ لُبْسِهِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 24650
It is narrated from Hadrat Hudhayfah that he said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the wearing of silk and gold. And he said: These things are for the disbelievers in this world and for us in the Hereafter.
حضرت حذیفہ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ریشم اور سونے کے پہننے سے منع فرمایا ۔ اور ارشاد فرمایا : یہ چیزیں کفار کے لیے دنیا میں ہیں اور ہمارے لیئے آخرت میں ہیں۔
Hazrat Huzaifa se riwayat hai woh kehte hain keh janab nabi kareem (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne resham aur sone ke pehenne se mana farmaya. Aur irshad farmaya: yeh cheezen kuffar ke liye duniya mein hain aur humare liye aakhirat mein hain.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ، عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ ، وَالذَّهَبِ ، وَقَالَ : هُوَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، وَلَنَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ "
