كِتَابُ اللِّبَاسِ وَالزِّينَةِ
Regarding the length of the shirt, how long it should be, and where it should drag
فِي طُولِ الْقَمِيصِ كَمْ هُوَ وَإِلَى أَيْنَ هُوَ فِي جَرِّهِ

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Shuaib bin Yasar. He said that some people mentioned to Hazrat Ukarmah about pulling the shirt and izaar, so you said: By Allah! This is evil. Big evil.
حضرت شعیب بن یسار سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ کچھ لوگوں نے حضرت عکرمہ کے پاس، قمیص اور ازار کو کھینچنے کا ذکر کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا : بخدا ! یہ تو شر ہے۔ بڑا شر ہے۔
Hazrat Shuaib bin Yasar se riwayat hai. Woh kehte hain ke kuch logon ne Hazrat Ukrama ke paas, qamees aur izaar ko khenchne ka zikr kiya to aap ne farmaya: Bakhuda! Yeh to shar hai. Bara shar hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرُوا عِنْدَ عِكْرِمَةَ جَرَّ الْقَمِيصِ ، وَالْإِزَارِ ، فَقَالَ : « هُوَ وَاللَّهِ شَرٌّ وَأَشَرُّ »
