Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 26606
Hazrat Hassan Basri narrates that the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) asked you (peace be upon him) about the status of the wealth we spend on our families. You (peace be upon him) said: The wealth that you spend on your family without extravagance and without miserliness is considered to be in the way of Allah.
حضرت حسن بصری فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سوال کیا کہ جو ہم اپنے گھر والوں پر خرچ کرتے ہیں اس کی کیا حیثیت ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو مال تم اپنے گھر والوں پر بغیر اسراف اور بغیر کنجوسی کے خرچ کرتے ہو وہ اللہ کے راستہ میں شمار ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Hasan Basri farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke Sahaba ne aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se sawal kiya ke jo hum apne ghar walon par kharch karte hain us ki kya haisiyat hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: jo maal tum apne ghar walon par baghair israaf aur baghair kanjoosi ke kharch karte ho wo Allah ke raaste mein shumar hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعُمَيْسِ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ ، مَوْلَى مُصْعَبٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ : أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَأَلُوهُ : مَا أَنْفَقْنَا عَلَى أَهْلِينَا ؟ فَقَالَ : « مَا أَنْفَقْتُمْ عَلَى أَهْلِيكُمْ فِي غَيْرِ إِسْرَافٍ ، وَلَا تَقْتِيرٍ فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ »
