كِتَابُ الدُّعَاءِ
What a man should supplicate when entering the restroom.
مَا يَدْعُو بِهِ الرَّجُلُ يَقُولُهُ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْكَنِيفَ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29900
A student of Hadhrat Abdullah bin Masood narrates that you (the Prophet) said: "When you enter the toilet and intend to remove your clothes, say: 'O Allah! I seek Your protection from filth and impurity. From the evil Jinns, whether male or female, and from the accursed Satan.'"
حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود کے ایک شاگرد فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا : جب تم بیت الخلاء میں داخل ہو اور کپڑے اتارنے کا ارادہ کرو تو یوں کہو ! اے اللہ ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں گندگی سے اور نجاست سے ۔ خبیث جنوں سے مرد ہوں یا عورت، اور شیطان مردود سے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood ke aik shagird farmate hain ke aap ne irshad farmaya : Jab tum bait ul khala mein dakhil ho aur kapre utarne ka irada karo to yun kaho ! Aye Allah ! mein teri panaah chahta hun gandagi se aur najasat se . Khabees jino se mard hon ya aurat, aur shaitan marood se.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَنَّاقَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : " إِذَا دَخَلْتَ الْغَائِطَ فَأَرَدْتَ التَّكَشُّفَ فَقُلِ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الرِّجْسِ ، وَالنَّجَسِ ، وَالْخُبْثِ ، وَالْخَبَائِثِ ، وَالشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ "
