Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31657
Amir bin Sa'd narrates: I wrote to Jabir bin Samurah, asking him to tell me something he had heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He wrote back, saying that he had heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "I will be the first one to reach the Hawd (Cistern)."
عامر بن سعد فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے جاببر بن سمرہ کو لکھا کہ مجھے ایسی بات بتائیے جو آپ نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنی ہو، انھوں نے لکھا کہ میں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ میں حوض پر پہلے سے پہنچنے والا ہوں۔
Aamir bin Saad farmate hain keh maine Jabir bin Samrah ko likha keh mujhe aisi baat bataiye jo aap ne Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se suni ho, unhon ne likha keh maine aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko farmate huye suna keh main hauz par pehle se pohanchne wala hun.
حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ الْمِسْمَارِ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ : كَتَبْتُ إِلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ : أَخْبِرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ : فَكَتَبَ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : « أَنَا الْفَرَطُ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ »
