Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34720
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu 'Imran that Hadrat 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr was sitting and there was a fire in front of him that suddenly my breath started to shorten, so you (may peace be upon him) said: By the Being in whose possession is my life! This fire also seeks refuge in Allah, the Exalted, from the greater fire... or he said, from the fire of Hell... The narrator says that he then looked at the moon as it was setting and said: By Allah! It is crying at this time.
حضرت ابوعمران سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور ان کے سامنے آگ تھی کہ اچانک میرا سانس گھٹنے لگا تو آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : قسم اس ذات کی جس کے قبضہ میں میری جان ہے ! یہ آگ بھی اللہ تعالیٰ سے بڑی آگ ۔۔۔ یا فرمایا جہنم کی آگ ۔۔۔ سے پناہ مانگتی ہے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں پھر انھوں نے چاند کو غروب ہوتے وقت جھک کر دیکھا تو فرمایا : بخدا ! یہ اس وقت رو رہا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Imran se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro baithe hue thay aur un ke samne aag thi ki achanak mera saans ghutne laga to aap (RA) ne farmaya : Qasam is zaat ki jis ke qabza mein meri jaan hai ! Yeh aag bhi Allah Ta'ala se badi aag ... ya farmaya jahannam ki aag ... se panah mangti hai. Rawi kahte hain phir unhon ne chand ko ghuroob hote waqt jhuk kar dekha to farmaya : Bukhda ! Yeh is waqt ro raha hai.
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ : أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، بَيْنَمَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ نَارٌ إِذْ شَهِقَتْ فَقَالَ : « وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، إِنَّهَا لَتَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ الْكُبْرَى »، أَوْ قَالَ : « مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ »: قَالَ : فَرَأَى الْقَمَرَ حِينَ جَنَحَ لِلْغُرُوبِ فَقَالَ : « وَاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَيَبْكِي الْآنَ »
