كِتَابُ الزُّهْدِ
What Was Mentioned About the Virtue of the Remembrance of Allah
مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35047
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Remembering Allah in the morning and evening is better than striking swords in the path of Allah and giving away heaps of wealth."
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ صبح وشام خدا کا ذکر کرنا، راہِ خدا میں تلواریں توڑنے اور ڈھیروں مال دینے سے بہتر ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke subah-o-sham Khuda ka zikr karna, rah-e-Khuda mein talwarain tornay aur dheron maal denay se behtar hai.
هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : « ذِكْرُ اللَّهِ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ حَطْمِ السُّيُوفِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَإِعْطَاءِ الْمَالِ سَحًّا »
