كِتَابُ الزُّهْدِ
The Words of al-Hasan al-Basri
كَلَامُ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35249
"It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ja'far that he said that there was not one among the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that whenever he heard any Hadith from you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he took it. He neither added to it nor subtracted from it, nor Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar."
حضرت ابوجعفر سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ (رض) میں سے کوئی ایک بھی ایسا نہیں تھا کہ جب وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کوئی حدیث سنتا تو اس کو لے لیتا۔ نہ اس میں زیادتی کرتا اور نہ اس سے کمی کرتا اور نہ ہی حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر سے۔
Hazrat Abu Jaffar se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke janab rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ke sahaba (razi Allah anhum) mein se koi ek bhi aisa nahi tha ke jab woh aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) se koi hadees sunta to us ko le leta. Na us mein ziyadati karta aur na us se kami karta aur na hi Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar se.
الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ : « لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا أَحْذَرُ لَا يَزِيدُ فِيهِ وَلَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْهُ وَلَا وَلَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ »
