كِتَابُ الزُّهْدِ
The Words of al-Hasan al-Basri
كَلَامُ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35318
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu 'Asheeb that he said that Hadrat Hasan began to recite the Quran until he reached { ولاَ یَذْکُرُونَ اللَّہَ إِلاَّ قَلِیلاً } He said: This little is only because it is (a lot) for other than Allah.
حضرت ابوالاشہب سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت حسن نے قرأت شروع کی یہاں تک کہ { وَلاَ یَذْکُرُونَ اللَّہَ إِلاَّ قَلِیلاً } تک پہنچے۔ فرمایا : یہ تھوڑے صرف اس لیے ہیں کہ یہ غیر اللہ کے لیے (بہت) ہوتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu al Ash'ab se riwayat hai. Wo kahte hain ke Hazrat Hasan ne qirat shuru ki yahan tak ke {wala yaz kuroon Allah illa qaleelan} tak pahunche. Farmaya: Ye thore sirf is liye hain ke ye ghair Allah ke liye (bahut) hote hain.
أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْهَبِ ، قَالَ : قَرَأَ الْحَسَنُ حَتَّى بَلَغَ : ﴿ وَلَا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ﴾ [ النساء : ١٤٢ ]، قَالَ : « إِنَّمَا قَلَّ لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ »
