Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 35847
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived in Medina, people ran towards you. I also went with the people to meet the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When I looked at your face, I realized that this face could not be the face of a liar. The first thing I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say was, "O people! Spread peace, feed the hungry, uphold ties of kinship, pray when people are sleeping, and enter Paradise in peace."
حضرت عبداللہ بن سلام سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مدینہ تشریف لائے تو لوگ آپ کی طرف دوڑ پڑے۔ میں بھی لوگوں کے ساتھ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے ملاقات کے لیے حاضر ہوا۔ جب میں نے آپ کے چہرے پر غور کیا تو یہ چہرہ دیکھ کر جان لیا کہ یہ کسی جھوٹے کا چہرہ ہو ہی نہیں سکتا۔ میں نے حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو سب سے پہلے یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا ” اے لوگو ! سلام پھیلاؤ، کھانا کھلاؤ، صلہ رحمی کرو، جب لوگ سو رہے ہوں تو نماز پڑھو اور جنت میں سلامتی کے ساتھ داخل ہوجاؤ۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya ke jab Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Madina tashreef laaye to log aap ki taraf dauṛ pade. Main bhi logon ke sath Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se mulaqat ke liye hazir hua. Jab maine aap ke chehre par gौर kiya to yeh chehra dekh kar jaan liya ke yeh kisi jhoote ka chehra ho hi nahi sakta. Maine Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko sab se pehle yeh kehte huye suna "Aye logo! Salam phelaao, khana khilao, sila rehmi karo, jab log so rahe hon to namaz parho aur jannat mein salamti ke sath dakhil hojao."
أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عَوْفٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ انْجَفَلَ النَّاسُ قِبَلَهُ وَقِيلَ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثًا فَجِئْتُ فِي النَّاسِ لِأَنْظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنْتُ وَجْهَهُ عَرَفْتُ أَنَّ وَجْهَهُ لَيْسَ بِوَجْهِ كَذَّابٍ فَكَانَ أَوَّلُ شَيْءٍ سَمِعْتُهُ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِهِ أَنْ قَالَ : « يَاأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ » أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ ، وَأَطْعَمُوا الطَّعَامَ وَصَلُوا الْأَرْحَامَ ، وَصَلُّوا بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّاسُ نِيَامٌ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ بِسَلَامٍ "
