Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36666
It is narrated from Hazrat Ali that, "Indeed, during the battle of Badr, I saw myself (meaning the companions) that we were seeking refuge behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were the closest to the enemy from among us."
حضرت علی سے روایت ہے کہ البتہ تحقیق مں ن نے بدر کے دن اپنے آپ (یعنی صحابہ ) کو دیکھا کہ ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اوٹ میں پناہ لے رہے تھے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہم میں سے سب سے زیادہ دشمن کے قریب تھے۔
Hazrat Ali se riwayat hai keh albatta tahqeeq mein ne Badr ke din apne aap (yani sahaba) ko dekha keh hum Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ki oat mein panah le rahe thay aur aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) hum mein se sab se zyada dushman ke qareeb thay.
وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : « لَقَدْ رَأَيْتنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَنَحْنُ نَلُوذُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ أَقْرَبُنَا إِلَى الْعَدُوِّ »
