Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 36668
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Umair bin Ishaq that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Get yourselves branded, for the angels have also gotten themselves branded." The narrator says that branding was used for the first time on this day.
حضرت عمیر بن اسحاق سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : نشان لگا لو کیونکہ فرشتوں نے بھی نشان لگا رکھے ہیں۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ اس دن پہلی مرتبہ اون استعمال کی گئی۔
Hazrat Umair bin Ishaq se riwayat hai ki Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Nishan laga lo kyunki farishto ne bhi nishan laga rakhe hain. Rawi kehte hain ki us din pehli martaba oon istemaal ki gayi.
أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « تَسَوَّمُوا ؛ فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ قَدْ تَسَوَّمَتْ » ، قَالَ : فَهُوَ أَوَّلُ يَوْمٍ وَضَعَ الصُّوفَ "
