كِتَابُ الْجَمَلِ
On the Journey of Aisha, Ali, Talha, and Az-Zubair
فِي مَسِيرِ عَائِشَةَ وَعَلِيٍّ وَطَلْحَةَ وَالزُّبَيْرِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 37788
It is narrated on the authority of Harith b. Jumhan al-Ju'fi that on the day (of the battle) of Jamal, we saw that our spears and theirs were so interlocked that a man could walk over them if he wished. These (people) were exclaiming: "There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest," and those (people) were also exclaiming: "There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest."
حارث بن جمہان جعفی سے روایت ہے کہ ہم نے جنگ جمل کے دن دیکھا کہ ہمارے ان کے نیزے آپس میں ایسے گھسے ہوئے تھے کہ اگر آدمی ان پر چلنا چاہتا تو چل سکتا تھا یہ بھی لاَ إلَہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ وَاللَّہُ أَکْبَرُ کی صدائیں بلند کر رہے تھے اور یہ بھی لاَ إلَہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ وَاللَّہُ أَکْبَرُ کی صدائیں بلند کر رہے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ الْجُعْفِيِّ ، قَالَ : لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ وَإِنَّ رِمَاحَنَا وَرِمَاحَهُمْ مُتَشَاجِرَةٌ وَلَوْ شَاءَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ عَلَيْهَا لَمَشَى ، قَالَ : وَهَؤُلَاءِ يَقُولُونَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، وَهَؤُلَاءِ يَقُولُونَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ "
