كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ
Regarding the takbir on the two Eids and their differences
فِي التَّكْبِيرِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ، وَاخْتِلَافُهُمْ فِيهِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 5723
Thabit bin Qais narrated that I offered the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer behind Umar bin Abdul Aziz. He would recite seven Takbirs before the recitation in the first Rakah and five Takbirs before the recitation in the second Rakah.
ثابت بن قیس فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عمر بن عبد العزیز کے پیچھے عید الفطر کی نماز پڑھی پہلی رکعت میں قرات سے پہلے سات تکبیرات اور دوسری رکعت میں قرات سے پہلے پانچ تکبیرات کہتے تھے۔
Sabit bin Qais farmate hain ke maine Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz ke peeche Eid-ul-Fitr ki namaz parhi. Pehli rakat mein qirat se pehle saat takbeerat aur dusri rakat mein qirat se pehle panch takbeerat kehte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مِجْلَزٍ ، قَالَ : نَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : « صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، الْفِطْرَ فَكَبَّرَ فِي الْأُولَى سَبْعًا قَبْلَ الْقِرَاءَةِ ، وَفِي الثَّانِيَةِ خَمْسًا قَبْلَ الْقِرَاءَةِ »
