Book of the Two Eid Prayers
٦-
كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ
A man misses the prayer on the day of Eid, how many rak'ahs does he pray
الرَّجُلُ تَفُوتُهُ الصَّلَاةُ فِي الْعِيدِ، كَمْ يُصَلِّي

Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) said that whoever misses the Eid prayer should offer the prayer like the Imam's prayer. Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) said that when people are returning after offering the prayer, then you should come to the mosque and offer the prayer like the Imam's prayer, and the one who could not go for Eid prayer should also offer the prayer like the Imam's prayer.
حضرت ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ جس کی نماز عید فوت ہوجائے وہ امام کی نماز جیسی نماز پڑھے۔ حضرت ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ جب لوگ نماز پڑھ کر واپس آ رہے ہوں تو تم مسجد میں آ کر امام کی نماز ادا کرو اور جو شخص عید کی نماز کے لیے نہ جاسکے وہ بھی امام کی نماز جیسی نماز ادا کرے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim farmate hain keh jis ki namaz eid foot ho jaye woh imam ki namaz jaisi namaz parhe. Hazrat Ibrahim farmate hain keh jab log namaz parh kar wapas aa rahe hon to tum masjid mein aa kar imam ki namaz ada karo aur jo shakhs eid ki namaz ke liye na ja sake woh bhi imam ki namaz jaisi namaz ada kare.
حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : « إِذَا فَاتَتْكَ الصَّلَاةُ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ ، فَصَلِّ مِثْلَ صَلَاتِهِ » قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ : « وَإِذَا اسْتَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ رَاجِعِينَ ، فَلْتَدْخُلْ أَدْنَى مَسْجِدٍ ، ثُمَّ فَلْتُصَلِّ صَلَاةَ الْإِمَامِ ، وَمَنْ لَا يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْعِيدِ ، فَلْيُصَلِّ مِثْلَ صَلَاةِ الْإِمَامِ »
