كِتَابُ صَلَاةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ Regarding a man who prays alone, should he say the takbir or not
فِي الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي وَحْدَهُ يُكَبِّرُ أَمْ لَا
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 5833
Hazrat Shabi states that you should recite Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) in Nafl prayer even if you are praying alone.
حضرت شعبی فرماتے ہیں کہ نفلی نماز میں بھی تکبیر کہو خواہ اکیلے نماز پڑھ رہے ہو۔
Hazrat Shabi farmate hain keh nafli namaz mein bhi takbeer kaho chahe akele namaz parh rahe ho
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : « كَبِّرْ فِي التَّطَوُّعِ ، وَإِنْ صَلَّيْتَ وَحْدَكَ »
