كِتَابُ الزَّكَاةِ
Regarding the charity of sheep, when it becomes obligatory and how much it is
فِي صَدَقَةِ الْغَنَمِ مَتَى تَجِبُ فِيهَا وَكَمْ فِيهَا

Hazrat Zahri says that on forty to one hundred and twenty goats, the zakat is one goat, then when there are more than one hundred twenty, there are two goats on it till two hundred, then if there are more than two hundred, then there are three goats until three hundred, and if the goats increase even more than this, then on every hundred, the zakat is one goat, and (less than) forty is exempted.
حضرت زہری فرماتے ہیں کہ چالیس سے لے کر ایک سو بیس بکریوں پہ ایک بکری زکوۃ ہے، پھر جب ایک سو بیس سے زائد ہوجائیں تو اس پر دو بکریاں ہیں دو سو تک پھر اگر دو سو سے زائد ہوجائیں تو تین سو تک تین بکریاں ہیں، اور اگر بکریاں اس سے بھی زائد ہوجائیں تو ہر سو پر ایک بکری زکوۃ ہے، اور چالیس (سے کم) ساقط ہے۔
Hazrat Zuhri farmate hain keh chalis se lekar ek sau bees bakriyon peh ek bakri zakat hai, phir jab ek sau bees se zaid hojain to is par do bakriyan hain do sau tak phir agar do sau se zaid hojain to teen sau tak teen bakriyan hain, aur agar bakriyan is se bhi zaid hojain to har sau par ek bakri zakat hai, aur chalis (se kam) saqit hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : « إِذَا بَلَغَتْ أَرْبَعِينَ فَفِيهَا شَاةٌ حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ عِشْرِينَ وَمِائَةٍ ، فَإِذَا زَادَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَفِيهَا شَاتَانِ إِلَى مِائَتَيْنِ ، فَإِذَا زَادَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَفِيهَا ثَلَاثُ شِيَاهٍ إِلَى ثَلَاثِمِائَةٍ ، فَإِذَا زَادَتْ فَفِي كُلِّ مِائَةِ شَاةٍ شَاةٌ وَسَقَطَتِ الْأَرْبَعُونَ »
