Abdullah bin Mas`ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that it is from the Sunnah to recite the Tashah-hud quietly. Imam Tirmidhi said, the Hadith of Ibn Masud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) is a Hasan Gharib Hadith. It is acted upon according to the people of knowledge.

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں سنت سے یہ ہے ۱؎ کہ تشہد آہستہ پڑھا جائے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن مسعود کی حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- اور اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے۔
Abdul-allah bin Mas'ood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain sunnat se yeh hai 1 ke tashahhud aahisteh parha jaaye. Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: 1. Ibn Mas'ood ki hadees hasan gharib hai, 2. aur ahl-e-'ilm ka isi par amal hai.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: مِنَ السُّنَّةِ أَنْ يُخْفِيَ التَّشَهُّدَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: حَدِيثُ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ.
