Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘the burden of what is said by the two who vilify each other is upon the one who initiated it, as long as the one who was wronged does not transgress.’ Imam Tirmidhi said this Hadith is Hasan Sahih. There are narrations on this topic from Sa’d, Ibn Masud and Abdullah bin Mughaffal (رضي الله تعالى عنهم).

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”گالی گلوچ کرنے والے دو آدمیوں میں سے گالی کا گناہ ان میں سے شروع کرنے والے پر ہو گا، جب تک مظلوم حد سے آگے نہ بڑھ جائے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں سعد، ابن مسعود اور عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی الله عنہم سے بھی حدیثیں مروی ہیں۔
Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Gali galoch karne walay do aadmiyon mein se gali ka gunah un mein se shuruaat karne walay par hoga, jab tak mazloom had se aage nah barh jaye" 1؎. Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: 1. yeh hadees hasan sahih hai, 2. is bab mein Saad, Ibn Mas'ood aur Abdullah bin Mughaffal Radiyallahu Anhum se bhi hadeesen marwi hain.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: الْمُسْتَبَّانِ مَا قَالَا فَعَلَى الْبَادِي مِنْهُمَا مَا لَمْ يَعْتَدِ الْمَظْلُومُ ، وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ، وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
