Jami` at-Tirmidhi 174
Ummul Momineen Aishah (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) did not pray any Salah at the end of its time two times, until Allah took him. Imam Tirmidhi said this Hadith is Hasan Gharib and its chain is not connected. Ash-Shafii said the beginning of the time for the Salah is the most virtuous. Among the proofs for the virtue of the beginning of its time over its end is that it was the choice of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), Abu Bakr and Umar ( رضئ هللاتعالی عنہما). They would only chose what was more virtuous. They would not forsake the virtue and they would pray at the beginning of its time. This was narrated to us by Abu al-Walid al-Makki from Ash-Shafii.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے کوئی نماز اس کے آخری وقت میں دو بار نہیں پڑھی یہاں تک کہ اللہ نے آپ کو وفات دے دی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے اور اس کی سند متصل نہیں ہے، ۲- شافعی کہتے ہیں: نماز کا اول وقت افضل ہے اور جو چیزیں اول وقت کی افضیلت پر دلالت کرتی ہیں من جملہ انہیں میں سے نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم، ابوبکر، اور عمر رضی الله عنہما کا اسے پسند فرمانا ہے۔ یہ لوگ اسی چیز کو معمول بناتے تھے جو افضل ہو اور افضل چیز کو نہیں چھوڑتے تھے۔ اور یہ لوگ نماز کو اول وقت میں پڑھتے تھے۔
Umme-al-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehti hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne koi namaz us ke aakhiri waqt mein do baar nahin padhi yahaan tak ke Allah ne aap ko wafat de di. Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: 1. yeh hadees gharib hai aur is ki sanad muttasil nahin hai, 2. Shafi'i kehte hain: namaz ka aul waqt afzal hai aur jo cheezen aul waqt ki afzilat per dilalat karti hain mun jamla unhen mein se Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), Abu Bakr, aur Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ka isay pasand farmana hai. Yeh log usi cheez ko ma'mul banate the jo afzal ho aur afzal cheez ko nahin chhodte the. Aur yeh log namaz ko aul waqt mein padhte the.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: مَا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةً لِوَقْتِهَا الْآخِرِ مَرَّتَيْنِ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ، قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ: وَالْوَقْتُ الْأَوَّلُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ أَفْضَلُ، وَمِمَّا يَدُلُّ عَلَى فَضْلِ أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِ عَلَى آخِرِهِ اخْتِيَارُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، فَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَخْتَارُونَ إِلَّا مَا هُوَ أَفْضَلُ وَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَدَعُونَ الْفَضْلَ، وَكَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ فِي أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِ. قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنْ الشَّافِعِيِّ.
