Chapter: What Is Said When One Enters Into The Masjid

باب مَا جَاءَ مَا يَقُولُ عِنْدَ دُخُولِ الْمَسْجِدِ
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 315
Ismail bin Ibrahim (a narrator in the chain of Hadith no. 314) said: I met Abdullah bin al Husain in Makkah, so I asked him about this Hadith, so he narrated it to me, he said: 'When Allah's Messenger entered, he said (Rabbi aftahli abwaba rahmatik) 'O Lord, open the gates of Your mercy for me.' And when he exited he said: (Rabbi iftahli abwaba fadlik) 'O Lord, open the gates of Your blessings for me.' Imam Tirmidhi says: 1- The hadith of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) is graded as Hasan based on corroborating evidence, otherwise, its chain is not continuous, 2- Fatimah bint Hussain did not meet Fatimah Kubra, as she only lived a few months after the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), 3- In this chapter, hadiths are also narrated from Abu Hamid, Abu Saeed, and Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with them).

اسماعیل بن ابراہیم بن راہویہ کا بیان ہے کہ میں عبداللہ بن حسن سے مکہ میں ملا تو میں نے ان سے اس حدیث کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے مجھ سے اسے بیان کیا اور کہا کہ جب آپ ﷺ داخل ہوتے تو یہ کہتے «رب افتح لي باب رحمتك» ”اے میرے رب! اپنی رحمت کے دروازہ میرے لیے کھول دے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- فاطمہ رضی الله عنہا کی حدیث ( شواہد کی بنا پر ) حسن ہے، ورنہ اس کی سند متصل نہیں ہے، ۲- فاطمہ بنت حسین نے فاطمہ کبریٰ کو نہیں پایا ہے، وہ تو نبی اکرم ﷺ کے بعد چند ماہ ہی تک زندہ رہیں، ۳- اس باب میں ابوحمید، ابواسید اور ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
Isma'il bin Ibrahim bin Rahaviyah ka bayan hai ke main 'Abdullaah bin Hasan se Makkah mein mila to main ne un se is hadees ke bare mein poocha to unhon ne mujh se use bayan kiya aur kaha ke jab aap صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم daakhil hote to yeh kehte «Rab iftah li bab rahmatik» “Aye mere Rab! apni rahmmat ke darwaza mere liye khool de”۔ Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: 1- Fatimah رضی الله عنہا ki hadees ( shawahed ki bana par ) hasan hai, warna is ki sand muttasil nahin hai, 2- Fatimah bint Hussain ne Fatimah Kubra ko nahin paya hai, woh to Nabi akram صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ke baad chand mah hi tak zinda rahin, 3- Is bab mein Abu Hamid, Abu Asid aur Abu Hurairah رضی الله عنہم se bhi ahadees aai hain.
وقَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ: قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ: فَلَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْحَسَنِ بِمَكَّةَ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ، قَالَ: رَبِّ افْتَحْ لِي بَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ، قَالَ: رَبِّ افْتَحْ لِي بَابَ فَضْلِكَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ، وَأَبِي أُسَيْدٍ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: حَدِيثُ فَاطِمَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ، وَفَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ الْحُسَيْنِ لَمْ تُدْرِكْ فَاطِمَةَ الْكُبْرَى، إِنَّمَا عَاشَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشْهُرًا.
