Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3896
Abdullah bin Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘no one should convey to me anything regarding any of my Companions, for I love that I should go out to them while my breast is at peace.’ 'Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was brought some wealth, so the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) distributed it. Then I came across two men that were sitting saying, 'by Allah, Muhammad ( صلىهللا عليه و آله وسلم) did not intend the Face of Allah in his distribution, nor the abode of the Hereafter.' So, I spread this when I heard them, and I went to the Apostle of Allah (ص لى هللا عليه وآله وسلم) and I informed him. So, his face became red, and he said, 'do not bother me with this, for indeed Musa (عليه السالم) was afflicted by more than this and he was patient.' Imam Tirmidhi said this Hadith is Gharib from this route and and a man has been added to its chain.

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میرے اصحاب میں سے کوئی کسی کی برائی مجھ تک نہ پہنچائے، کیونکہ میں یہ پسند کرتا ہوں کہ جب میں ان کی طرف نکلوں تو میرا سینہ صاف ہو“، عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں: ( ایک بار ) رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس کچھ مال آیا اور آپ نے اسے تقسیم کر دیا، تو میں دو آدمیوں کے پاس پہنچا جو بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور کہہ رہے تھے: قسم اللہ کی! محمد نے اپنی اس تقسیم سے جو انہوں نے کی ہے نہ رضائے الٰہی طلب کی ہے نہ دار آخرت، جب میں نے اسے سنا تو یہ بات مجھے بری لگی، چنانچہ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور آپ کو اس کی خبر دی تو آپ کا چہرہ سرخ ہو گیا اور آپ نے فرمایا: ”مجھے جانے دو کیونکہ موسیٰ کو تو اس سے بھی زیادہ ستایا گیا پھر بھی انہوں نے صبر کیا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث اس سند سے غریب ہے اور اس سند میں ایک آدمی کا اضافہ کر دیا گیا ہے۔
``Abd-ul-laah bin Mas`ood radiya-Allahu `anhu kehte hain ke Rasool-ul-laah salla-Allahu `alayhi wa sallam ne farmaya: ``Mere as-haab mein se koi kisi ki burai mujh tak nah pahunchaaye, kyunki main yeh pasand karta hoon ke jab main un ki taraf niklu to mera seena saaf ho`` , ``Abd-ul-laah bin Mas`ood radiya-Allahu `anhu kehte hain: ( ek baar ) Rasool-ul-laah salla-Allahu `alayhi wa sallam ke paas kuchh maal aaya aur aap ne use taqseem kar diya, to main do aadmiyon ke paas pahuncha jo baithe hue the aur keh rahe the: Qasam Allaah ki! Muhammad ne apni is taqseem se jo unhon ne ki hai nah riza-e ilahi talab ki hai nah daara-e aakhirat, jab main ne ise suna to yeh baat mujhe buri lagi, chananchh main Rasool-ul-laah salla-Allahu `alayhi wa sallam ke paas aaya aur aap ko is ki khabar di to aap ka chehra surkh ho gaya aur aap ne farmaya: ``Mujhe jaane do kyunki Musa ko to is se bhi ziyaada sataya gaya phir bhi unhon ne sabar kiya`` . Imam Tirmidhi kehte hain: Yeh hadees is sanad se gharib hai aur is sanad mein ek a admi ka izaafa kar diya gaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا يُبَلِّغُنِي أَحَدٌ عَنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي شَيْئًا، فَإِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَأَنَا سَلِيمُ الصَّدْرِ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: فَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَالٍ فَقَسَّمَهُ، فَانْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى رَجُلَيْنِ جَالِسَيْنِ وَهُمَا يَقُولَانِ: وَاللَّهِ مَا أَرَادَ مُحَمَّدٌ بِقِسْمَتِهِ الَّتِي قَسَمَهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَلَا الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ، فَتَثَبَّتُّ حِينَ سَمِعْتُهُمَا، فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَخْبَرْتُهُ، فَاحْمَرَّ وَجْهُهُ وَقَالَ: دَعْنِي عَنْكَ فَقَدْ أُوذِيَ مُوسَى بِأَكْثَرَ مِنْ هَذَا فَصَبَرَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، وَقَدْ زِيدَ فِي هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ رَجُلٌ.
