Chapter: [What Has Been Related] About Not Performing The Qunut

باب مَا جَاءَ فِي تَرْكِ الْقُنُوتِ

There exists another narration from Abu Malik with similar meaning but with different chain. Imam Tirmidhi said this Hadith is Hasan Sahih. This is acted upon according to most of the people of knowledge. Sufyan Ath-Whawri said that if one recites the Qunut in Fajr then that is fine and if he does not recite the Qunut then that is fine too and he preferred that one not recite the Qunut. Ibn Mubarak did not hold the view that the Qunut should be recited in Fajr. Imam Tirmidhi said Abu Malik Al-Ashja'i's name is Sa'd bin Tariq bin Ashyam.

ابوعوانہ نے ابو مالک اشجعی سے اسی سند سے اسی مفہوم کی اسی طرح کی حدیث روایت کی۔
Abu Awanah ne Abu Malik Ashjaee se isi sanad se isi mafhūm ki isi tarah ki hadees riwayat ki.
حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ.
