Sunan Abi Dawud 1252
Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) would pray two rak’a before and two after the noon prayer, two after the sunset prayer in his house, and two after the night prayer. He would not pray after the Friday prayer till he departed. He would then pray two rak’a.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ ظہر سے پہلے دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے، اور اس کے بعد دو رکعتیں، مغرب کے بعد دو رکعتیں اپنے گھر میں پڑھتے تھے اور عشاء کے بعد دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے، اور جمعہ کے بعد کچھ نہیں پڑھتے تھے یہاں تک کہ فارغ ہو کر گھر واپس آ جاتے پھر دو رکعتیں پڑھتے۔
Abdul-Allah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) zuhr se pehle do raka'at padhte the, aur us ke baad do raka'at, maghrib ke baad do raka'at apne ghar mein padhte the aur isha ke baad do raka'at padhte the, aur jum'ah ke baad kuchh nahin padhte the yahaan tak ke farigh ho kar ghar wapis aa jate phir do raka'at padhte.
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ، وَبَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَكَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
