Sunan Abi Dawud 1779
Ummul Momineen Aisha (ra narrated, ‘we went out with the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) at the farewell pilgrimage. Some of us had put on Ihram for Umrah and some both for Hajj and Umrah when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had put on Ihram for Hajj only. He who had put on Ihram for Umrah, put off Ihram after performing Umrah and he who had worn Ihram both for Hajj and Umrah or only for Hajj did not take it off till the tenth (of the month).’

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ہم لوگ حجۃ الوداع کے سال رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ نکلے ہم میں کچھ ایسے لوگ تھے جنہوں نے عمرے کا احرام باندھا، اور کچھ ایسے تھے جنہوں نے حج و عمرہ دونوں کا احرام باندھا، اور کچھ ایسے تھے جنہوں نے صرف حج کا احرام باندھا، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حج کا احرام باندھا، چنانچہ جن لوگوں نے حج کا یا حج اور عمرہ دونوں کا احرام باندھا تھا انہوں نے یوم النحر ( یعنی دسویں ذی الحجہ ) تک احرام نہیں کھولا۔

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَتْ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ وَعُمْرَةٍ وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ، وَ أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحَجِّ، فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ أَوْ جَمَعَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَلَمْ يُحِلُّوا حَتَّى كَانَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ .
