Sunan Abi Dawud 1979
Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘O Allah, have mercy on those who have themselves shaved.’ The people said, ‘O Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), and those who have clipped their hair.’ He again said, ‘O Allah, have mercy on those who have themselves shaved.’ The people said, ‘O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), those who have clipped their hair.’ He (the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘and those who clip their hair.’

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: «اللهم ارحم المحلقين» اے اللہ سر منڈوانے والوں پر رحم کر ، لوگوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! اور کٹوانے والوں پر؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: «اللهم ارحم المحلقين» اے اللہ سر منڈوانے والوں پر رحم فرما ، لوگوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! اور کٹوانے والوں پر؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اور کٹوانے والوں پر بھی ۱؎ ۔
Abdul'llah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke Rasul'llah sal'llahu alayhi wa sallam ne farmaya: «Allahum rahm al-muhliquen» Aey Allah sar mundwane walon par rahm kar, logon ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasul! aur katwane walon per? Aap sal'llahu alayhi wa sallam ne farmaya: «Allahum rahm al-muhliquen» Aey Allah sar mundwane walon par rahm farma, logon ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasul! aur katwane walon per? Aap sal'llahu alayhi wa sallam ne farmaya: aur katwane walon per bhi 1؎ .
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ؟ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ ؟ قَالَ: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ .
