Chapter: What Is To Be Said When Putting On A New Garment

باب مَا يَقُولُ إِذَا لَبِسَ ثَوْبًا جَدِيدًا

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by al-Jariri to the same effect though a different chain of narrators. Imam Abu Dawood said, Abdul Wahhab al-Thaqafi did not mention the name of Abu Sa'id. Hammad b. Salamah said, from al-Jariri, from Abu al-'Ala', from the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). Imam Abu Dawood said, the hearing of this tradition by Hammad bin Salamah and Thaqafi is of the same nature.

اس سند سے بھی جریری سے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث مروی ہے ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: عبدالوہاب ثقفی نے اس میں ابوسعید کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے اور حماد بنطسلمہ نے جریری سے جریری نے ابوالعلاء سے ابوالعلاء نے نبی اکرم ﷺ سے روایت کیا ہے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: حماد بن سلمہ اور ثقفی دونوں کا سماع ایک ہی ہے
is sind se bhi jareeri se asi mafh oom ki hadees marwi hai abodaod kehte hain: abdul wahab thaqfi ne is mein abu said ka zikr nahin kiya hai aur hamad bin taslima ne jareeri se jareeri ne abu al aala se abu al aala ne nabi akram salla laahu alaihi wa sallam se riwayat kiya hai. abodaod kehte hain: hamad bin salima aur thaqfi dono ka samaa ek hi hai
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ، وَحَمَّادُ ابْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، وَالثَّقَفِيُّ سَمَاعُهُمَا وَاحِدٌ.
