Sunan Abi Dawud 4248
Abdullah bin 'Amr ( رضئ للاتعالی عنہ) narrated that the Prophet (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) said, if a man takes an oath of allegiance to a leader and puts his hand on his hand and does it with the sincerity of his heart, he should obey him as much as possible. If another man comes and contests him, then behead the other one. The narrator 'Abdur Rahman said, I asked, have you heard this from the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم)? He said, my ears heard it and my heart retained it. I said, your cousin Mu'awiyah orders us that we should do this and do that. He replied: Obey him in the acts of obedience to Allah and disobey him in the acts of disobedience to Allah.

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: جس شخص نے کسی امام سے بیعت کی، اس کے ہاتھ میں اپنا ہاتھ دیا، اور اس سے عہد و اقرار کیا تو اسے چاہیئے کہ جہاں تک ہو سکے وہ اس کی اطاعت کرے، اور اگر کوئی دوسرا امام بن کر اس سے جھگڑنے آئے تو اس دوسرے کی گردن مار دے ۔ عبدالرحمٰن کہتے ہیں: میں نے عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا: کیا آپ نے اسے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں اسے میرے دونوں کانوں نے سنا ہے، اور میرے دل نے یاد رکھا ہے، میں نے کہا: یہ آپ کے چچا کے لڑکے معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ ہم سے تاکیداً کہتے ہیں کہ ہم یہ یہ کریں تو انہوں نے کہا: ان کی اطاعت ان چیزوں میں کرو جس میں اللہ کی اطاعت ہو، اور جس میں اللہ کی نافرمانی ہو اس میں ان کا کہنا نہ مانو۔
Abdul-Allah bin Amr (رضي الله تعالى عنه)uma kehte hain ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jis shakhs ne kisi Imam se bai'at ki, us ke hath mein apna hath diya, aur us se ahd o iqrar kiya to usse chahiye ke jahan tak ho sake woh us ki it'at kare, aur agar koi dusra Imam ban kar us se jhagraane aaye to us dusre ki gardan mar de. Abdul-Rahman kehte hain: Main ne Abdul-Allah bin Amr (رضي الله تعالى عنه)uma se poocha: Kya aap ne ise Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suna hai? Unhon ne kaha: Haan ise mere donon kanoon ne suna hai, aur mere dil ne yaad rakha hai, Main ne kaha: Yeh aap ke chacha ke ladke Muawiyah (رضي الله تعالى عنه)u hum se takiden kehte hain ke hum yeh yeh karen to unhon ne kaha: In ki it'at un cheezon mein karo jis mein Allah ki it'at ho, aur jis mein Allah ki nafarmani ho us mein in ka kahna na mano.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ بَايَعَ إِمَامًا فَأَعْطَاهُ صَفْقَةَ يَدِهِ وَثَمَرَةَ قَلْبِهِ فَلْيُطِعْهُ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ، فَإِنْ جَاءَ آخَرُ يُنَازِعُهُ فَاضْرِبُوا رَقَبَةَ الْآخَرِ، قُلْتُ: أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ: سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي، قُلْتُ: هَذَا ابْنُ عَمِّكَ مُعَاوِيَةُ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَفْعَلَ وَنَفْعَلَ، قَالَ: أَطِعْهُ فِي طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ وَاعْصِهِ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ .
