Chapter: What has been reported concerning Al-Muharibah

باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الْمُحَارِبَةِ
Sunan Abi Dawud 4366
The above Hadith is also transmitted by Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) through a different chain of narrators. This version says, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sent some people who were experts in tracking in pursuit of them and they were brought (to him). Allah ( وَجَلعَز) then revealed the verse about it - ِْ فَسَادًا أَنْ ضْ َرْ نَ فِي األَ سُولَهُ وَ يَسْعَو َ وَ رِ بُونَ َّللاَاءُ ال ذِينَ يُحَارإِن مَا جَز ْيُقَت لُوا أَو ْ يٌ فِيِ زِ ۚ ذََٰلِكَ لَهُمْ خْ ضْ َرْ ا مِنَ األْ يُنْفَوَ فٍ أَوِ الْ جُلُهُمْ مِنْ خْ تُقَط عَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَريُصَل بُوا أَو ٌَ ةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمِ رْ خالدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِي اآل [ The punishment for those who wage war against Allah and His Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and perpetrate disorders in the land is that they be crucified, or their hands and feet cut off from alternate sides, or they be banished far away from the land; this is their degradation in the world, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.] (Al-Ma’idah – 33)

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے بھی یہی حدیث مروی ہے اس میں ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ان کے تعاقب میں کچھ مخبر بھیجے تو انہیں پکڑ کر لایا گیا، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس سلسلہ میں آیت کریمہ «إنما جزاء الذين يحاربون الله ورسوله ويسعون في الأرض فسادا» جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے لڑیں اور زمین میں فساد کرتے پھریں ان کی سزا یہی ہے کہ وہ قتل کر دئیے جائیں ( سورۃ المائدہ: ۳۳ ) اتاری۔
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se bhi yahi hadees marwi hai is mein hai ke Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM ne un ke taaqob mein kuchh mukhabbar bhije to unhen pakad kar laya gaya to Allah Ta'ala ne is silsila mein ayat kareema «Innama jazaal ladhina yuhaariboon Allaha wa rasooluhu wa yasa'oon fil ardhi fasada» jo Allah aur us ke Rasool se larain aur zameen mein fasad karte phrain un ki saza yahi hai ke woh qatl kar diye jaain ( Surah al-Maidah: 33 ) utari.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا. ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْيَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، قَالَ فِيهِ: فَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي طَلَبِهِمْ قَافَةً فَأُتِيَ بِهِمْ، قَالَ: فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فِي ذَلِكَ إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ الَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَسَادًا سورة المائدة آية 33 الْآيَةَ.
