Chapter: What has been reported concerning Al-Muharibah

باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الْمُحَارِبَةِ
Sunan Abi Dawud 4367
The above Hadith is also transmitted by Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) through a different chain of narrators. In this verse, it is said that Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘I saw one of them biting the earth with this mouth (teeth) on account of thirst and this way they died.

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے بھی یہی حدیث مروی ہے اس میں انس کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ان میں سے ایک شخص کو دیکھا کہ وہ پیاس کی وجہ سے زمین کو اپنے منہ سے کاٹتا تھا یہاں تک کہ وہ سب ( پیاس سے تڑپ تڑپ کر ) مر گئے۔
Ins ibn Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se bhi yahi hadees marwi hai is mein Ins kehte hain ke mein ne un mein se ek shakhs ko dekha ke woh piyas ki wajah se zameen ko apne munh se kaatta tha yahaan tak ke woh sab ( piyas se tadap tadap kar ) mar gaye.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ، وَقَتَادَةُ، وَحُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، قَالَأَنَسٌ: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَحَدَهُمْ يَكْدِمُ الْأَرْضَ بِفِيهِ عَطَشًا حَتَّى مَاتُوا.
