Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated about this story, saying, ‘then the woman, against whom he decided that a male or female should be paid for her, died. The Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) then gave judgement that her sons will inherit from her, and the blood wit should be paid by her relatives on the father's side.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے اس قصے میں روایت ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں پھر وہ عورت، جس کے لیے رسول اللہ ﷺ نے لونڈی یا غلام کا فیصلہ کیا تھا، مر گئی، تو آپ نے فیصلہ فرمایا کہ اس کی میراث اس کے بیٹوں کی ہے، اور دیت قاتلہ کے عصبہ پر ہو گی۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se is qisse mein riwayat hai, woh kehte hain phir woh aurat, jis ke liye Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne loundi ya ghulam ka faisla kiya tha, mar gayi, to aap ne faisla farmaya ke us ki miras us ke beton ki hai, aur diyat qatileh ke usbah par hogi.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ قَالَ: ثُمَّ إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ الَّتِي قَضَى عَلَيْهَا بِالْغُرَّةِ تُوُفِّيَتْ، فَقَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَنَّ مِيرَاثَهَا لِبَنِيهَا وَأَنَّ الْعَقْلَ عَلَى عَصَبَتِهَا.
