Sunan Abi Dawud 5250
Abdullah ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, he who leaves the snakes along through fear of their pursuit, does not belong to us. We have not made peace with them since we have fought with them.

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جو شخص سانپوں کو ان کے انتقام کے ڈر سے چھوڑ دے یعنی انہیں نہ مارے وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے، جب سے ہماری ان سے لڑائی چھڑی ہے ہم نے ان سے کبھی بھی صلح نہیں کی ہے ( وہ ہمیشہ سے موذی رہے ہیں اور موذی کا قتل ضروری ہے ) ۔
Abdul Allah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke Rasool Allah sall Allahu alaihi wa sallam ne farmaya: Jo shakhs saapon ko un ke intiqam ke dar se chhod de yani unhen nahin maare woh hum mein se nahin hai, jab se hamari un se larai chhutti hai hum ne un se kabhi bhi sulh nahin ki hai ( woh hamesha se mozi rahe hain aur mozi ka qatl zaruri hai ) .
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عِكْرِمَةَ يَرْفَعُ الْحَدِيثَ فِيمَا أَرَى إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ تَرَكَ الْحَيَّاتِ مَخَافَةَ طَلَبِهِنَّ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا، مَا سَالَمْنَاهُنَّ مُنْذُ حَارَبْنَاهُنَّ .
