Sunan Abi Dawud 738
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) uttered the takbir (Allah is most great) for prayer (in the beginning), he raised his hands opposite to his shoulders; and when he bowed, he did like that; and when he raised his head to prostrate, he did like that; and when he got up at the end of two rak'a, he did like that.

میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ نماز میں اپنے دونوں انگوٹھے اپنے دونوں کانوں کی لو تک اٹھاتے۔
main ne rasool allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekha ke aap namaz mein apne dono unghto apne dono kano ki lo tak uthate.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ فِطْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْفَعُ إِبْهَامَيْهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذُنَيْهِ .
