Sunan Abi Dawud 755
Abu Uthman an-Nahdi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said : When Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) prayed he placed his left hand on the right. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saw him and placed his right hand on his left one.

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور اپنا بایاں ہاتھ دائیں ہاتھ پر رکھے ہوئے تھے تو نبی اکرم ﷺ نے انہیں ( اس کیفیت میں ) دیکھا تو آپ نے ان کا داہنا ہاتھ بائیں ہاتھ کے اوپر رکھ دیا۔
Abdul Allah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke woh namaz padh rahe the aur apna bayen hath daien hath par rakhe hue the to Nabi e Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen (is kayfiyat mein) dekha to aap ne un ka dahna hath bayen hath ke ooper rakh diya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ، عَنْ هُشَيْمِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَبِي زَيْنَبَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى الْيُمْنَى، فَرَآهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى .
