Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 514
Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went to visit a bedouin when he was ill and said, "Do not worry. It is a purification if Allah so wills." He said that the bedouin said, "It is a fever which boils in an old man and will cause him to visit the graves." "It is a blessing then," he concluded.

حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ ایک دیہاتی کی عیادت کرنے کے لیے اس کے ہاں تشریف لے گئے تو آپ نے فرمایا:’’تجھے کوئی حرج اور ڈر نہیں، یہ بیماری گناہوں سے پاک کرنے والی ہے، ان شاء اللہ‘‘ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ اس دیہاتی نے کہا:نہیں بلکہ یہ بخار ہے جو بوڑھے شیخ پر جوش مار رہا ہے تاکہ اسے قبرستان پہنچا دے۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:’’تب ایسا ہی ہوگا۔‘‘
Hazrat Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek dehati ki ayadat karne ke liye us ke han tashreef le gaye to aap ne farmaya: ''Tujhe koi harj aur dar nahin, yeh bimari gunahon se pak karne wali hai, Insha Allah'' Ravi kehte hain ki us dehati ne kaha: Nahin balki yeh bukhar hai jo budhe sheikh par josh maar raha hai taake use qabristan pahuncha de. Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ''Tab aisa hi hoga.''
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ عَلَى أَعْرَابِيٍّ يَعُودُهُ، فَقَالَ: لاَ بَأْسَ عَلَيْكَ، طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ الأعْرَابِيُّ: بَلْ هِيَ حُمَّى تَفُورُ، عَلَى شَيْخٍ كَبِيرٍ، كَيْمَا تُزِيرُهُ الْقُبُورَ، قَالَ: فَنَعَمْ إِذًا.
