It is narrated on the authority of Khushkhash that once I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with my son, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Is this your son?" I said, "Yes, I bear witness to it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You will not be held responsible for any of his crimes, nor will he be held responsible for any of your crimes."

حضرت خشخاش سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اپنے بیٹے کو ساتھ لے کر نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا کہ یہ تمہارا بیٹا ہے میں نے عرض کی جی ہاں میں اس کی گواہی دیتا ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس کے کسی جرم کا ذمہ دار تمہیں یا تمہارے جرم کا ذمہ دار اسے نہیں بنایا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Khushkhash se marvi hai keh aik martaba mein apne bete ko sath lekar Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua to Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne poocha keh yeh tumhara beta hai mein ne arz ki ji haan mein is ki gawahi deta hon Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya is ke kisi jurm ka zimma dar tumhein ya tumhare jurm ka zimma dar ise nahi banaya jaye ga.
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُخْبِرٌ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَرِّ ، عَنِ الْخَشْخَاشِ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعِي ابْنٌ لِي، فَقَالَ:" ابْنُكَ؟" قَالَ: قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ" .
