It is narrated on the authority of a companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the days of Mina, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded Abdullah bin Hudhafah Sahmi (may Allah be pleased with him) to mount his ride and announce to the people that no one should fast during the days of Tashreeq, because these are days of eating and drinking. So I saw him making this announcement while riding.

ایک صحابی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایام منیٰ میں نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت عبداللہ بن حذافہ سہمی رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا کہ اپنی سواری پر سوار ہو کر لوگوں میں یہ اعلان کردیں کہ ایام تشریق میں کوئی شخص بھی روزہ نہ رکھے کیونکہ یہ کھانے پینے کے دن ہیں چنانچہ میں نے انہیں اپنی سواری پر اس اعلان کی منادی کرتے ہوئے دیکھا۔
aik sahabi razi Allah unhu se marvi hai keh ayaam mina mein nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hazrat Abdullah bin huzaifa sahmi razi Allah unhu ko hukum diya keh apni sawari par sawar ho kar logon mein ye elaan kar dein keh ayaam tashreeq mein koi shakhs bhi roza na rakhe kyunki ye khane peene ke din hain chunacha mein ne unhein apni sawari par is elaan ki munaddi karte huye dekha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , أخبرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ , عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ حُذَافَةَ السَّهْمِيَّ , أَنْ يَرْكَبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ أَيَّامَ مِنًى , فَيَصِيحَ فِي النَّاسِ: " لَا يَصُومَنَّ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ" , قَالَ: فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ يُنَادِي بِذَلِكَ.
