Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 10165
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He was about to go on a journey and said, "O Messenger of Allah, give me some advice." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I advise you to fear Allah and to recite Takbir on every high ground." When that person turned his back to leave, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Allah, make the earth fold for him and make his journey easy."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوا وہ سفر پر جانا چاہ رہا تھا کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ مجھے کوئی وصیت فرما دیجئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں تمہیں اللہ سے ڈرنے کی اور ہر بلندی پر تکبیر کہنے کی وصیت کرتا ہوں جب اس شخص نے واپسی کے لئے پشت پھیری تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے اللہ اس کے لئے زمین کو لپیٹ دے اور سفر کو آسان فرما۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi bargah e nabuat mein hazir hua woh safar par jana chah raha tha kehne laga Ya Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mujhe koi wasiyat farma dijiye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein tumhein Allah se darne ki aur har bulandi par takbeer kehne ki wasiyat karta hun jab iss shakhs ne wapsi ke liye pusht pheri to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Allah iss ke liye zameen ko lapet de aur safar ko aasan farma.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ يَعْنِي اللَّيْثِيَّ ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ سَمِعَهُ , عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَوْصِنِي، فَقَالَ: " أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ، وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ"، فَلَمَّا مَضَى , قَالَ:" اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ" .
